How Did the Event Come to Be?

“A Taste of Saskatchewan” was designed after two very successful festivals — a Taste of Edmonton and A Taste of Manitoba. These two festivals have been operating for over 20 years with a concept of providing an outdoor dining and entertainment extravaganza. The original “Taste Of” event was A Taste of Chicago and today there are Taste of festivals across Canada and the United States.

How Does “A Taste of Saskatchewan” Work?

“A Taste of Saskatchewan” will feature 30 of Saskatoon’s finest restaurants. Each restaurant is limited to serving 3 items. These 3 items are three of the restaurant’s house favorites. “A Taste of Saskatchewan” sells food tokens to the public for $2.00 each. These food tokens are then exchanged at the restaurant for their desired food items. You will notice that all items are priced at 1 or 2
tokens with generous portions, making "Taste of Saskatchewan" very
affordable for hungry customers.

This year Credit Union Centre will be offering up over 300 special prize packages at A Taste Of Saskatchewan, these prizes are to numerous Credit Union Centre events.

Everyone is invited to attend. For those who work in the downtown area, we invite you to enjoy your lunch in this beautiful outdoor setting from Tuesday to Friday, and at the same time, enjoy some terrific entertainment.
